Black Belt In Judo & 4 Stripe Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
With 28 years of grappling experience, Sensei Rameen has a rich background in various martial arts. He started Judo at age 5 with his older brother at the YMCA, continued with wrestling through high school, and began practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2008. Sensei Rameen earned his Judo black belt in 2016 and has been a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2021.
His competitive accomplishments include:
- 2001: 1st place, North-South Judo Championships
- 2007: 2nd place, USJA Junior Nationals
- 2008: 1st and 3rd place, Welcome Mat Open
- 2008: 1st place, Gurnee Veterans Day Open
- 2015: 1st place, Badger Open - 2016: 2nd place, Welcome Mat Open
- 2016: 2nd place, Illinois Midwest Championship
- 2017: 1st place, North-South Illinois Championship
- 2017: 2nd place, Irwin Cohen Memorial - 2017: 3rd place, National Presidents Cup
- 2018: 3rd place, Tohkon Classic - 2018: 3rd ranked, USA Roster Open Class
- 2018: USA Roster +100kg
- 2019: Double Gold, Fuji BJJ Championship
- 2019: 3rd place, Wahadachi State Tournament
