How do I start my trial?
For all ADULT CLASSES (ages 14+) including Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, and Judo/Wrestling: Please come 10-15 minutes before the first class you would like to attend with your ID. Teens ages 14-17 MUST have a parent/guardian present to sign their waiver for them. We will ask you to fill out some basic contact information and a waiver. If you have questions prior to coming in, please do not hesitate to CONTACT US
What class should I start with on my first day?
If you are interested in Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Judo, any of the classes listed on the schedule are open to you and appropriate for your first day. For Brazilian jiu-jitsu, classes are broken into skill level: Beginner, All Belts, and Advanced. Please choose a Beginner or All Belts class as your first BJJ class!
What equipment do I need for my trial?
Please wear clean, comfortable athletic clothing (no street clothes including jeans, belts, collared shirts, etc). A mouth guard is required for all kickboxing classes and recommended for Brazilian jiu-jitsu. You must be clean with nails clipped and jewelry removed. Please bring a water bottle as we do not sell single-use plastics at the gym.
Do I need to have experience to start?
NO! Most students that begin training have no previous experience. Some students may come in with some wrestling or martial arts experience, but it is by no means expected or required. All beginner classes are appropriate for Day 1 of training and our instructors are great at teaching new students!
