The IBJJF PanAm Championship is coming up soon in Irvine, CA and we are sending a small but fierce team of competitors from FVGC! To help get our guys out there, we are holding a seminar during which James, Curt, Kegan, and Dan will each be showing 1/2 hour of technique. It promises to be a great opportunity to not only support our teammates, but also learn some awesome BJJ/Judo/wrestling from some seriously talented and experienced guys.
Entry to the seminar is $35 (cash please). This is open to ALL LEVELS and ALL SCHOOLS. We do appreciate an RSVP via FACEBOOK, but there is no registration requirement. Regular Adult BJJ class will be CANCELLED that day. Kickboxing Fundamentals, and Kids BJJ will run as usual.

JUNE 12-JULY 26
Team FVGC has created a 6-Week summer program for kids 8-13 years old to learn the basics of boxing and Muay Thai kickboxing, to get some great exercise, and to have fun! No prior kickboxing or boxing training is required.
Classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 4-5pm starting on Monday, June 12th and ending Wednesday, July 26th. (We will be taking a break the week of July 3rd).
This will be an age-appropriate, light-contact class under professional, adult supervision and instruction. Students will be focusing on proper footwork, basic punching and kicking technique, putting together combinations, and some basic defense. There will be no peer-to-peer contact until students can demonstrate basic technique, control, and discipline.
Tuition for the 6-weeks is $150 and INCLUDES BOXING GLOVES AND SHIN-GUARDS. Students will need to provide their own boil-and-bite style mouthguard (approximately $15, available at Dicks, Scheels, Play It Again Sports, etc.). Registration and payment through the Eventbrite page is REQUIRED for participation. This will allow us to appropriately plan curriculum, staffing, and have each child’s equipment ready for them on their first day.
REGISTRATION ENDS SATURDAY, MAY 20th
Attention FVGC Ladies:
Women’s Class will be cancelled tomorrow, Monday February 20th due to instructor travel and illnesses. Thank you in advance for your understanding! Please contact us with any questions.
Due to inclement weather and the anticipation of dangerous road conditions as temperatures begin to drop, FVGC will be cancelling ALL REGULAR CLASSES tonight, Tuesday, January 10th with regular classes resuming tomorrow.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we really like you all and don’t want to see anyone dying in a ditch trying to get to or from training. We will be opening up Wednesday’s Advanced BJJ class to all belt levels and encourage our boxing friends to come to Kickboxing Fundamentals at 5:15pm Wednesday night!
